Οι Depeche Mode (Dave Gahan, Martin Gore και
Andy Fletcher) ανακοίνωσαν σήμερα την νέα Ευρωπαϊκή περιοδεία τους ‘Tour of the Universe 2009' στα πλαίσια τη
οποίας θα εμφανιστούν και στην Ελλάδα, ξεσηκώνοντας για ακόμα μία φορά το κοινό,
στις 12 Μαίου στο
Terra Vibe
Park!   .

Αυτή τη στιγμή το γκρουπ βρίσκεται
στην Νέα Υόρκη για την ηχογράφηση του νέου τους άλμπουμ, που θα κυκλοφορήσει τον
Απρίλιο 2009.

Οι Depeche Mode προσδοκώντας
ανυπόμονα την συνέχεια της ‘Playing The Angel' περιοδείας, θα κυκλοφορήσουν το
12ο άλμπουμ μιας απόλυτα επιτυχημένης καριέρας 28 χρόνων, με
συνολικές πωλήσεις άνω των 75 εκατομμυρίων αντιτύπων.

Η επιτυχία θα συνεχιστεί με την
περιοδεία ‘Tour of the Universe
2009', που σίγουρα θα είναι ένα από τα μεγαλύτερα και καλύτερα
παγκοσμίως μουσικά highlight της επόμενης χρονιάς! 

Ξεκινώντας από το Ισραήλ στις 10
Μαΐου, θα είναι η πρώτη φορά που οι Depeche Mode θα κατακλύσουν τα στάδια 28 πόλεων
σε 22 χώρες, πριν την τελευταία τους εμφάνιση, στις 11 Ιουλίου, στο Superbock
Super Rock Festival του Πόρτο, στην Πορτογαλία. 

Στην Ελλάδα θα εμφανιστούν για
μία μόνο βραδιά στις 12 Μαΐου, στο
Terra Vibe
Park.

Οι  Depeche Mode με αδιαμφισβήτητα
μία από τις εντυπωσιακότερες σκηνικές παρουσίες, θα εμφανιστούν
live
σε 1,3
εκατομμύρια κοινό κατά τη διάρκεια της πολύ -
αναμενόμενης περιοδείας ‘Tour of the Universe 2009'. Θα είναι η πρώτη φορά που
θα εμφανιστούν πάλι μετά από την περιοδεία ‘Playing the Angel', η οποία έσπασε
κάθε ευρωπαϊκό ρεκόρ με πωλήσεις άνω των 1,8 εκατομμυρίων εισιτηρίων στη
διάρκεια 87 συναυλιών.

Η τελευταία στάση της ‘Playing The
Angel' περιοδείας ήταν το Terra Vibe Park (1η Αυγούστου 2006, Αθήνα), όπου οι
Depeche Mode έδωσαν μία εντυπωσιακή sold
out συναυλία,
στη μέση του καλοκαιριού! Η προγραμματισμένη τελευταία συναυλία της περιοδείας
‘Playing The Angel' θα πραγματοποιούνταν στις 3 Αυγούστου στο Hayarkon Park, Tel
Aviv, αλλά, λόγω του επικείμενου πολέμου, το γκρουπ αναγκάστηκε να την ακυρώσει.
Το Ramat Gan Stadium θα προσφέρει το 2009, στην ‘Tour of the Universe 2009' την
κατάλληλη σκηνή για την φαντασμαγορική επιστροφή των Depeche
Mode.
