Κατά τη γνώμη μου είναι από τους 5 πιο ιδιαίτερους και χαρακτηριστικούς κιθαρίστες της γενιάς του, και ο 2ος που χάνουμε μετά τον John McGeoch ( Magazine, Visage, Siouxsie & the Banshees, PIL).Τους άλλους τρεις δεν τους αναφέρω γιατί είμαι προληπτικός. Ατνιγράφω τα λόγια 2 παλιών συνεργατών του Rowland S. Howard, μαζί με 3 βίντεο για να θυμηθούμε.

Nick Cave:

uncompromising guitarist. He was also a good friend. He will be missed
by many."

Mick Harvey: "Sometimes people are ready to go because they
have been sick for a long time, but Rowland really wanted to live.
Things were going well for him outside of his health and he wanted to
take advantage of that, and he was very disappointed that he wasn't
well enough to do so."
