Για όσους δεν ξέρουν ή δεν θυμούνται, οι Blancmange ήταν ένα electropop ντουέτο ( Neil Arthur - Stephen Luscombe) από το Middlesex της Αγγλίας, με 3 albums στο ενεργητικό τους την περίοδο 1982-1986. Μεγαλύτερη τους επιτυχία ήταν το Living on the Ceiling, ενώ κλασσικό θεωρείται το εξαιρετικό Waves, μια synthpop μπαλάντα που σχετικά πρόσφατα είχαν διασκευάσει και οι Mesh. Το πρώτο τους τραγούδι, Sad Day, συμπεριλήφθηκε στην πρώτη θρυλική συλλογή της Some Bizzare μαζί με άλλα synthpop συγκροτήματα που έκαναν τα πρώτα τους βήματα εκείνη την εποχή (Depeche Mode, Soft Cell, B-Movie, The Fast Set, etc).
Ο καινούριος δίσκος των Blancmange λέγεται Blanc Burn και κυκλοφορεί στις 7 Μαρτίου 2011 από την Proper records και κάποια δείγματα υπάρχουν στο official site τους. Tracklist, artwork και 2 παλιά βίντεο των blancmange για να τους θυμηθούμε:
