Στη ταινία πρωταγωνιστούν ο Brad Pitt στον ρόλο του Jesse James και o Casey Affleck που υποδύεται τον Robert Ford, με μια πλειάδα γνωστών ηθοποιών να συμπληρώνουν το cast, όπως οι Sam Shepard, Robert Duvall, Sam Rockwell και Mary-Louise Parker.
