Πιο συγκεκριμένα, το event έγινε στις 6 Μαίου από την MusiCares MAP Fund (οργάνωση για την βοήθεια εξαρτημένων ατόμων από ναρκωτικές ουσίες) και ο Gahan τιμήθηκε με το Stevie Ray Vaughan Award για την συνεισφορά του. Εκτός από τον Gahan έπαιξαν ζωντανά και συγκροτήματα όπως οι Jane's Addiction και οι Paramore, ενώ ο τραγουδιστής των Depeche Mode ερμήνευσε το Love will tear us apart των Joy Division, το Cracked Actor του David Bowie και τον punk ύμνο των Damned, το New Rose. Έπαιξε ακόμα 2 από την προσωπική του καριέρα και 2 κλασσικά DM tracks με την βοήθεια του Martin Gore.
