Συνέχεια με το νέο, 10ο παρακαλώ, album των Magnetic Fields του τρομερού Stephin Merritt. O δίσκος λέγεται Realism και ο Merritt τον αποκαλεί "my folk album", μια και σε αντίθεση με το Distortion του 2008, χρησιμοποίησε κατά βάση ακουστικά όργανα στο studio. To Realism κυκλοφορεί στις 26 Ιανουαρίου 2010 και κλείνει την τριλογία (μαζί με το i και το distortion) των no-synth albums του συγκροτήματος από τη Νέα Υόρκη. Επιτέλους να συμπληρώσω εγώ που νοσταλγώ τα ζεστά synthesizers του 69 love songs και του υπέροχου smoke & mirrors... Artwork & tracklist:
