To όλο θέμα ξεκίνησε από το επίσημο fan-site των Human League Secrets On Line, που τους ζήτησε να συμμετέχουν στο δικτυακό tribute για τα 30 χρόνια από την ίδρυση του θρυλικού electropop συγκροτήματος από το Sheffield. To "empire state human" είναι από τα πρώτα τραγούδια που κυκλοφόρησαν οι Human League και περιέχεται στο "Reproduction" από το 1979.
