Οι The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart είναι από τη Νέα Υόρκη , παίζουν κιθαριστική indie pop που περισσότερο συναντάμε σε βρετανικές μπάντες και σε αρκετούς θα θυμίσουν συγκροτήματα όπως οι Field Mice και οι My Bloody Valentine. Oι oπαδoί της Sarah Records τους έχουν ήδη λατρέψει. Το πρώτο τους ομώνυμο album κυκλοφόρησε τον Φεβρουάριο του 2009, μπορείτε να τους τσεκάρετε στο myspace τους και στο βιντεάκι που ακολουθεί.
